IMPORTANT NOTICES:

  • Notice: GCU members may have received a text message that may have indicated GCU or another credit union has blocked their VISA card. This is a fraudulent attempt to get your private information. Please do not follow through on the request.
  • WARNING: GCU Plastic Cards (along with other Financial Institution's plastic cards) are still blocked in certain countries:

Credit and Debit Card Information Breach
As you may have heard, Global Payments, Inc. a credit and debit card processor, recently reported a major breach of card data. Although it is too early to tell the ramifications of this breach, GCU would like to offer some words of advice to our members. Check your card balances often to ensure there are no unauthorized charges and NEVER give any personally identifiable information (card number, PIN, CU account number, etc.) to anyone over the phone (unless YOU have initiated the call) or by email. To date, there are no known unauthorized charges to any cards as a result of this breach. There is a system in place for GCU to receive cardholder numbers that are identified as part of a breach. If we discover that any of our cardholders are included in this breach, we will contact them immediately to inform them of any steps we will be taking to protect their accounts.
